A rack type E1 access device for E1 and framing E1 network access, providing users with an economical and practical network access scheme. A ERM-01 can load up to 13 E1 or 12 G703 board, E1 board and SNMP board for the 1 network management, SNMP card management through the local RS232 port, SNMP protocol can use the standard through the Ethernet port for remote management. For each local area network, video conferencing, or E1 network service host, each E1 board can be connected to the remote ETU-01 independent E1 access unit. The ERM-01 provides two separate power supplies (optional AC/DC) to support all rack inserts. The power module can be used as a redundancy backup for power supply and can plug in hot data when the data is transmitted on the E1 board. ERM-01 provides all the connections from the rear panel. When the slot board is inserted into the slot, the LED displays the status of the line on the front panel. The rear panel provides the BNC interface and terminals of the E1. Through the adapter cable, the DB26 data interface can be converted into V.35, RS-530, X.21, 10/100Base-T bridge and routing.
